  • Great way to keep the animals out! Would LOVE to have a little garden myself. Maybe I’ll try something similar this year…

I’m hoping it goes well. I am awful with plants but MISS produce. We did, sadly, however, have to BUY dirt. Can you even imagine BUYING dirt? Oh well. I think if this season goes well, we may actually try to build some bigger elevated doggie proof beds next year. I would love to add in some green peppers, onions, cukes and green beans. The hard part is figuring out when the good growing seasons are out here…

My hubby is up in Seattle right now. I’m jealous. I wish I could have planned ahead well enough to get a doggie babysitter and go with him!

  • I’m definitely jealous that you are planting your herbs already. Last year, the last frost of Ohio’s strange spring got some of mine, so this year I am forcing myself to be patient. Ingenious system, though! Mine are going into containers, too. Probably not ones as orange as yours, but, then again, I don’t have to guard them from doggies!
