  • Friday's interview went.
Again, I don't know how well.
Especially since I probably won't hear back from them for two weeks.
And the job won't start until July 6th.

Saturday yielded the finding of a punctured bike tube which put a
serious crimp in our plans to bike to the library. So we drove and got
library cards and delicious new books. That at least takes some of the
edge of boredom off. We also had delicious Chinese food and a
gratiutously long shopping session at a very overcrowded Walmart.

Sunday was a trip to the very large Phoenix zoo. Lots of walking. Very
good zoo. Hubby got a bit of a sunburn. The post-zoo ice cream hunt was
terrible - who knew ice cream places closed for Easter Sunday? Does
jesus not like ice cream? So we settled for going to the grocery and
picking up some pints. I still have some - Godiva's Chocolate Raspberry
Truffle. Hubby's Butter Pecan only survived one incursion.

    This week?

    Waiting.
I have made contact with a temp agency that specializes in science
jobs. Sooooo...I guess that's what I will have to do if these other two
jobs don't work out. Careerbuilder and monster and their ilk are not
currently yielding up any good jobs on my altar of sacrifice. Maybe I
need to find something better to give them besides curse words and the
    occasional browsing...

    ***Edit***

    This amuses me.
