  • And again!

    Yup
    More from me.

    This time.
    It's a question.
The UPS guy was seriously just here.
He dropped off a package and I signed for it, not even looking at the package until after he was gone.

I assumed it was our DVDs we ordered a couple of days ago and I was very impressed that it was here already.

Then I realized the box was a bit big and it weighs about 5lbs.

    Yeah.
It's for whoever lived here before and clearly didn't forward her mail
or anything like that. I already left a note for the mail man that she
doesn't live here anymore because she had crazy amounts of mail (as in,
the first two days here, we got no less than 10 pieces of mail for her,
most of which were bills). But what the shit do I do with a big ol' box
    from UPS?
I already called the two number included on the box (for shipping purposes I assume).
One is customer service for what I think is the company that sent the box.
    The other is disconnected.

Any idea what the shit to do with this?
My only thought is to maybe go see if the rental office has a forwarding address or phone number for this girl...

    And *sigh*
    still no call.

  • Won't UPS come back and pick it up?

  • I guess it can't hurt to try. I've never had that happen before. The worse that can happen is that they say no.

How long has it been since they lived there?

  • My son moved over a month ago and I'm still getting ALL of his mail. If that makes you feel any better.

  • Weird. No clue what I would do in that situation.

  • I'd probably check for a forwarding address, then call UPS or go to their shipping facility. Pain in the butt!

  • Hm.  So tempting to open that sucker up and see if it's edible, huh?  Ok, ok.  Maybe I'm the only one who thinks that way.  Yeah, you could just mark "Return to Sender" beside the girl's name and drop it off at the post office.
