  • Wednesday. Shag Day. Hump Day.

    (can you tell I like to be able to title my posts?)

    Blergh.
    That's the weather.
    But I'm going for a walk in it after work even if it is raining.

    Cooking dinner for my parents on Friday. They're coming up to the house
    to discuss Thanksgiving and other recent events. Won't that be lovely
    and uncomfortable? I think I'm going to bake a ham and maybe some
    crescent rolls. Sounds tasty, no?

    Do you have work-specific underwear?
    I do.
    I have my sexy pile of underwear (mostly thongs), my sleepin' panties
    (which are mostly the boy cut short type) and my work underwear (which
    is mostly Victoria's Secret cotton underdrawers - I like the low-rise
    bikini ones).

    I think I'm going to turn the heat about 60F. It was awfully chilly
    last night, not so much so while snuggling under the covers with the FH
    and the three (or two depending on who was fighting with whom)
    cats...but when I got up to pee, both times...oooo doggy. COOOOLD. I
    also think I might be slapping the electric blanket on there on Friday
    when I change the sheets...

    Goals for today:

    Walk at the park after work

    Drink fewer coke beverages at work, perhaps intersperse them with water or something

    Swiffer the stairs

    Scoop the litterboxes - stinky kitties!

    Vacuum the living room, dining room and the other bit of carpet that exists in a bubble upstairs.

    Also dust and pick up the above mentioned rooms

    Bake some tasty salmon for dinner

    Perhaps move some stuff down into the basement so it isn't sitting in the dining room when my parents get here on Friday.

    Edited to add:
    Vacuuming will have to wait...
    as will the dusting.

  • Does moving in with a fiance make you even more highly motivated than before, or just more domesticated? 

  • I do not have work specific underwear. I do however have my "for when my boyfriend is visiting" underwear and my "grungier" undies for when he's not around. While I'd love to only have stacks of visiting undies, a girl can only spend so much on her underwear.

    I love the idea of situational undies. That cracks me up for some reason.

  • I used to have boyfriend undies and regular, every-day undies. Now, I just have the the every-day ones. Cotton JC Penney bikinis = my favorite (and only) undies. Is it possible to create COMFORTABLE sexy panties? Maybe I should command the frontier on that market....
