  • brooding is a bad habit
    so it is passive-aggressiveness.
    I do both. Often.

    Fuck me.

That aside, I will try to focus on positivity here.
1.) 30 days until I pick up my keys and begin the move in process. Today I sent a letter to my landlord, informing him that I was indeed moving. It also means I have less than 30 days to change the gas and the electricity, to determine if I still want DSL or if I can live with dialup and to figure out just how much this move is going to cost.

2.) Research is going well. Almost too well. I might know by the end of this week if I can finalize my PCR optimization and sequencing protocol (heh...yay molecular biology buzzwords!). If I can, I could hypothetically plow through the data collection for my master's degree in under a week (hah! that's what happens when you spend 8 months pre-data collection to guarantee a smooth operation). Damn, I sound kinda pompous. Go me.

    3) Wedding dresses and weddings abound. I'm excited about going, I'm excited about looking hot (though that leads to an instance of self-hypocrisy that I am having problems dealing with).

    4) SOAP! Yay Feith! I am smooth, soft and I stink purty.

    5) Clean dishes.

    6) Weather that is in the appropriate range (mostly). 50 to 75 is just lovely

    7) SHEETS! (230 tc might not be as high of quality as I wanted, but...you can't really beat clearance prices.)

    8) Blistex Clear Advance. The world's best lip balm. It could save humanity.

    9) New lab person. Saves me effort in presenting in lab meetings. He's from Brazil. I can't spell his name but sadly, he's no hot, ripped Brazilian. He does seem to be a non-scary, average human being

    10) Ham and cheese quesadillas (Yes, I eat like a 12 year old whose parents left them at home alone, what of it?)

  • Lol- quite the list there! I'd love to say something about all of those, but fear you'd ban me forever. Lol!

Good for you on the move - Hope it goes smoothly. I do love that "PCR optimization and sequencing protocol" Yeah!

The soap's all good - got my sampler pack from her in the mail yesterday. Yum. So this a.m. I can smell purty, too, while I read SaucyVox.

Sheets of higher thread count, at pretty decent prices? Try here.
