Month: December 2002

  • my odometer just passed 100,000 miles in my old people car

what saddens me most, aside from the amount of excitement rolling over 100,000 gave me … is that there are actually closer to 200,000 miles on my Regal…

    damn broken odometer

you’d think, as the daughter of a mechanic that my car would always work….

  • bah

    working on a weekend…what nonsense!

  • “does he make you laugh?”

    “he doesn’t make me cry.”

  • *whimper*

but I don’t want to go to work…
    damn DNA

  • so…Christmas is done…so I no longer have to be so crafty…but I’ve moved on to making cross-stitch bibs…it’s a ducky and a bluebird…thank goodness for drooley babies….hopefully her neck doesn’t get TOO fat!

  • thank god christmas is over!

  • I’ll skip Merry Christmas…and all the other denominational holidays…

    and I’ll stick to…

    Happy, Safe, Joyous Holiday!

  • mmmm….Rum balls…I make delicious rum balls….
especially the ones dipped in chocolate.

<sigh> downfall of visiting your parents, aside from not being able to walk around naked…you have a few pets to contend with…

well, more than a few. I brought home my kitties, Boots and Possum (can’t leave them for a week because there was no one in town to watch them). These kitties go with my mom’s 3 cats – Zane (18lbs), Sari (15 years old and a wee bit…bitchy) and Buffy (she just got declawed and spayed). Also present in my parents’ home – Ginger the elderly dog, Gouda the parakeet who likes to play with the cats, Dexter the hibernating turtle and enough inbreeding guppies to give anyone pause.

    it’s a wee bit…hectic around here.
thank god the three hamsters died…

  • I’ve determined that I’m not going to like wherever I live…no matter what. Columbus is too big and it’s too light at night. Home in Huntington is too small and it’s too damn dark at night (*shudder* should not watch creepy movies…)

there is no inbetween that I know of….

  • who’s landlord digs up a water main in the middle of the day – a Thursday at that…in the middle of a WET COLD December day?

    oh wait…MINE….

    grrrrrr
