I gotta stop listening to NPR on the way to work. It only makes me depressed and cranky before I get to work which makes me stressed and cranky. A double dose of cranky is no way to have your day.

I’m not dead. I’m just busy. Realllllly busy.
I’m event coordinating for NHCD, taking a Weight Management class, working my normal 40 hours a week, working out 5+ days a week (5k speed is down to 32.5 minutes!) and doing a weight loss challenge on the 3 Fat Chicks forums (and watching The Biggest Loser in conjunction with that – which, I am enjoying in a highly overly dramatic sort of way). Things are unlikely to slow down soon – I read but I don’t have time to post. I try to reply but don’t always. Hiking on Saturdays or Sundays should start soon and so should events so things will get busier!How are you?

Work sucks. A frigging lot. Enough that I am wishing I were back on third shift almost.
Weather is hot.

My 2007-2008 Goals are to run 5ks.
My tentative list:
October 18th – Frank Kush 5k
November 22nd – Dobson Ranch 3 mile Fun Run
December 6th – Irongirl 5k
January 1st – New Years Day 5k
February 15th – Lost Dutchman 8k
Of course, it’s September, I’ve only run 5k one time on the treadmill and it took me 37 minutes (I’m slow).
I’m hoping to get back to the gym on Saturday – if I can stave off this cold that is currently lurking over my head.
Let’s see how many of those events I actually make….
