On non-weight related stuff
Thanks everyone for birthday wishes.
I got the best birthday present ever — SLEEP.
I went to bed at 2000 the night before my birthday, skipped the gym and the dog park and hubby let me sleep in until about 0700. That’s 11 hours. Almost straight (but for the mid-night-time potty break)!
Seriously, that’s what I want next year too.

Yay Flu!
Just back from Weight Watchers weigh-in for week 4.
I’m down 5lbs (more on that insanely high number later) for a total of 12.2lbs.
I had the flu and was off work Monday and Tuesday.
Insanely high temperature (103.7 was the high and my typical body temperature is about 96.6) as well as chills, sobbing, the runs and a headache from hell.
It was pretty freakin’ awesome.
NOT.
But I’ll enjoy the 5lbs this week since next week will surely result in a gain.

Weight watchers week 3
Down - 1.6lbs
Total loss - 7.2lbs
In my world there is homework for nutrition class, studying with the folks at work for MT stuff, working my hiney off trying to make things work in this ever so evil-toxic-hell that I call a lab and dealing with a puppy who is teething and won’t sleep more than about 3 hours in a row.
Tomorrow is my birthday.
And I am uber-cranky.
I hold out pleasure joy that I am going to RenFest on Sunday and eating the Pleasure feast with J and my friend J.

This is CLIA.
In short, they’re a government agency that licenses and inspects clinical laboratories that give out patient results.
We passed – amazingly.

Weight Watchers – Week 2
Down 1.8lbs.
Girl from work is down 1lb.
Brings both of our totals to 5.6lbs in two weeks.
Much of that is water weight and some of it is also probably that I’m not retaining menstrual water. We’ll see if the scale goes up in two weeks when I am flowin’ good.
Still no real exercise. I’m a slacker.
My goal for the next week is 3 twenty minute exercise sessions.

Weight Watchers – Week 1
Down 3.8lbs.
Girl from work is down 4.6lbs.
Yay for weight loss.
And all that without going to the gym (three walks of around 1.5 miles or so).
Just imagine what it will be when I actually make it to the gym!
