So.
I’m busy I say. But I’m on break at work. So I’ll blog about being busy.
I am working my normal 4-10 hour shifts during the week. However, for the next nine weeks, I have 5 hours of class (2.5 hours on Mon and Thurs) — yay for Immunohematology. And it’s just as unexciting as it sounds. I spent this morning (Tuesday that is) at the car dealership getting my car looked at and spending 3 hours studying and still not getting done. Sucks.
Tomorrow is safety training at work – [paid overtime makes this nearly okay].
This weekend we have a date to go swing dancing with another couple as well as drive an hour out into the desert to visit the lady who has our future puppy (which has a name but I’m not going to tell it to you yet.)
Next week, in addition to my immuno class and working and studying, I have 4 hours of training in customer service (even though I never encounter customers) and our quarterly meeting with the head of my lab department.
Saturday the 30th I fly to Vegas because my parents will be there. I get home around 830pm on Tuesday night and go directly to bed so I can be up at around midnight to leave for work *yay for 3 hours of sleep!*
Then, after missing Monday’s immuno class to be in Vegas, I have a test on Thursday followed by a wedding rehearsal, dinner and bachelorette party on Friday and a wedding on Saturday.
Sunday I plan to do nothing but sleep. A lot. A whole lot.
Sometime in there we need to mow the lawn, pull the rock-weeds and pick up all those damn oranges the trees keep shitting into my yard.
What are you guys up to?
(p.s. My curtains are up and pictures have been taken, but they have not yet been downloaded off the camera, I’m lazy as fuck and you know it!)

I’m too lazy to get all extended even though stuff has actually happened and things are always going on.
Suffice to say: I’m busy. I’m only going to be busier and I miss being un-busy sometimes but time certainly goes faster this way.
*ahem*
That being said, I also wanted to state:
I (and mine hubby) shall be returning to Indiana for the Thanksgiving holidays. We have not yet purchased tickets but it is looking like we will be flying into Chicago on the 23rd (that’s the actual day of Thanksgiving) and then flying out on the following Tuesday (the 28th).
Thank you for your attention.
And now pray that it’s warm and non-snowy in Indiana because I realized the other day that I was enjoying the “cooler” weather here in AZ – and by cooler, I mean 95!

Notice that there are still no curtain pictures up. Nor are there curtains up. Not much happens in my household during the week, especially when I bike. Those puppies are 13 hour days by the time I get home. After I make some munchies for me, I don’t so much do anything but sleep and kitty snuggle.
I biked twice to work this week for a total of 32 miles. I hope to up that to three times next week and four the following. Once I get it up to four days a week, I guess my goal will be to increase my speed of travel. I can only increase it so much though – especially during the day I am fighting traffic all the damn time.
I’m going to a wedding shower today. I really like the woman it’s for (her name is Ellie, we rhyme!) but I just hate showers. Let’s cross our fingers and hope for either 1) no games or 2) games with fun participation from everyone who is involved as opposed to half-hearted, desultory game playing on the part of contestants.
I miss my nieces. And I would like to meet my nephew.
My future potential puppy is no longer a future potential puppy but a real-life, future puppy. My supervisor at work found a dog (an Austrailian Cattle Dog, A.K.A. a Blue Heeler) that was pregnant and she had EIGHT puppies. Sadly, one died, so she’s down to only seven – one male and six females. My husband and I get pick of the litter and we should get to meet them next weekend when they are about 4 weeks of age and hopefully slightly more personalitied than fat sausages.
