So I'm thinking I want a haircut.
This long messy cut is doing nothing for me and it's just HOT.
Life in a ponytail or a bun is not a good time.So.
Any suggestions?
I don't want to have a haircut that exaggerates my double chin. Or makes me look too mannish. Or that requires too much work. Not that I'm at all picky or choosey. And maybe a new hair color. Nice dark nutty brown?
EDITED TO ADD:
I think I kind of like this hair. The one on Julia Stiles, not the fat old man behind her. (Same hair, different shot)

I love that haircut and have had a similar haircut a couple of times.
I'm all for a change in hairstyles. I change mine a couple times a year.
Oooh, good hair. Might take work though if you don't have natural volume. Maybe something in a sweeped bang?
And I'm with you on the hair chopping for heat. Today in St. Louis is was nearly 90. Tomorrow in St. Louis it will be over 90. In April. So having hair down to the middle of your back is not the best idea.
I just got mine cut short last weekend. One of those shorter-in-the-back deals with lots of layers and, of course, bangs to cover my absurdly large forehead (thanks Dad). I love having it shorter in the back because it keeps the front long enough to tuck behind my ears. And I love layers because I do *nothing* to my hair aside from washing and blowdrying, and the layers keep it interesting. =OP
I have the long in front layers in the back, too. Now I am working on growing out ... kind of bob-ish, I think.
I enjoy the haircut, but not the lack of cleavage that Julia has. You would look silly if you went too dark in your color, but a little darker wouldn't be bad.
