Still working in the factory. Good for me, I suppose.
My diet is actually working…I’m down about 12lbs in 3 weeks. More than I should be losing – but most of that is due to no more coke, pizza, taco bell….etc, etc as well as working at a very physical job for 8 hours a night. Really cuts into my bike riding time too….
Another date tomorrow night. Go me.
Thinking about contacting someone else and possibly dating two boys at the same time…not sure how I feel about that. Vaguely skanky and yet very proud at the same time…

I have DSL again!
YAY!
well…actually, I don’t have it…my sister does, but I am paying for 50% of it so I can use it at will. Most of my at will, sadly, will be after work at 630am.
I just started my job at Stride-Rite – factory work. Light factory work and relatively clean…but still factory work. *shrug* We’ll see how long I can stand to do so. But damn…do they have far too many breaks! Every 2 hours, stop, sit and stare…yucky. I prefer to work straight through.
So….I’m hoping to be more active on Xanga again…because I miss my Xanga time and my internet friends.

Living at home is theoretically going well.
Two of my cats are here at my parents with me for a total of 5 cats in this one house. It’s very furry here. The other cat, Pixel, has taken up what was to be temporary and appears to be permanent residence in the house of my sister with her other cat and a dog and two nieces. Everytime I stop by, if Pixel is downstairs, she takes one look at me, screams mentally and disappears up the stairs. I feel guilty that I’m somewhat relieved that my cat hates me…but three cats for one person was just getting to be too many!
My sister is getting DSL and that should be all hooked up by Monday – so I’ll be able to stop by and borrow speedy internet access. Thank goodness! This dial-up is driving me bonkers.
On the job front, I’ve had several offers…I’m working on most of them. Substitute teaching as necessary should start next week.
I need to start working on my apps for PhD schools before the motivation leaves me. And I need to work on converting my thesis of 84 pages into approximatly 3-5 pages of publishable material….
