  • Getting up at 5am really sucks.

But to make it suck on a level of even more sucky…I broke my toilet at 5am this morning.

Not seriously, I mean, I’m not up to my armpits in backflowing and feces…but just enough to make me know beyond a shadow of a doubt that today is going to be a day of BLEH.

At least I had a good weekend of puppy love, gooey brownies, chinese food and no cooking for myself…

  • I’m not doing so well with the Xanga silence, am I?

Ah well…as is typical for my life. I’ve managed to break something. Well, lots of somethings. But for my day today the most pertinant is the autoclave that we use to sterilize everything. Sadly, the nylon squares that I needed to do today experiment are STUCK INSIDE the damn autoclave. Which, sadly, cannot be opened until the technician gets here. Tomorrow. Which, if I’m lucky, will mean that Monday I can do this.

I’m also waiting for new ingredients for my reactions.

So. I am pretty much wait girl.

I did my taxes yesterday…now I just gotta send all the respective governments their money. Going to balance my checkbook today, as well as go to the optometrist.

Does anyone want to pick my grad school for me? I’m not doing so hot with the choosing…so many choices…so many places…and for 5 years…it’s a damn hard decision.
