  • it's not bad.. it's normal = you have my permission to flame them... if they complain, you can tell them I said you could *gives you a signed note*

  • Happens to me every year, too. After a while, you get use to it. Or you don't.

    I hate having birthdays. blech.

  • happens to me too...they usually take me out to dinner for my birthday. how come birthdays evolve from cakes, candles, and unwrapping fun presents to food as you age? I don't get it. Not that I'm complaining about the food...

  • you should toilet paper their house. they earned it. happy birthday, girlie!

  • NO, it's not bad.  Still waiting for my card from my Dad.  Apparently he gave it to my uncle to mail and ..... over a week later, no sign of it.   *sigh*  and I'm with GoForCo, how DOES that happen?   Hang in there.  Write them a nasty letter, get it all out, but don't send it.   Just get it out of your head.  I hesitate to suggest that you do it here on Xanga, since I KNOW my parents read my site, but yours may not, so give it a shot.   Let FLY!

  • Your perants love ya so dose it matter if u get a card or not i know they say its the thought that counts but knowing they care its more importand than any pice of paper.

  • If they are like mine, they probably think you don't care anymore. It sucks.

  • I didn't get one either and I live 5 miles from them.

  • i'd be bothered for sure. but you should at least tell them that you're bothered, otherwise they won't know that it matters that much to you. if your family is anything like mine, a few snide remarks delivered in a playful manner should do the trick...=O)

  • not at all . . . I would be upset, too!
